FlyGirls FAQs

What kind of previous fly-fishing experience is required?
No experience is necessary. Our guides will tailor and personalize the course to the needs of each individual. . . novice to expert. There will be a maximum of three anglers per guide.

Do I need a fishing license?
Yes, a current Idaho fishing license is required but not included. You can purchase your license in our store prior to the start of your class or buy online before your trip by visiting Idaho Fish and Game Online.

What should I bring?
Sturtevants will provide the fishing gear at no extra cost (you can use your own if you have it). You should have a rain jacket, cap, shorts, long-sleeved shirt, thermal socks & long-jane's for use under waders, sunscreen and sunglasses. A fleece-top and rain-jacket may be helpful in the unlikely event of "weather".

Can you suggest lodging, day-care, and entertainment options for my family?
