Since 1948, S.M.O. has been providing premium outdoor products and services to generations of Sun Valley recreationists. We take pride in our heritage and seek to further enhance our reputation by providing superior one-on-one customer service every day.
Sturtevants places the highest priority on product knowledge shared in an honest, articulate, and friendly fashion. Our staff is comprised of a dynamic mix of personalities sharing a common bond of passion for the outdoors and the activities we represent - most particularly skiing, flyfishing, cycling, and a love for the alpine environment. We consider ourselves to be keepers of the work hard/play hard mountain lifestyle.
Previous experience in the outdoor sports field is appreciated but is NOT a prerequisite. Products and sports trends are ever evolving so staff training is an regular activity. . . As is ongoing product testing "in the field" - we consider ourselves "demo-fools" (hey, somebody's got to do it!). Individual accountability, acceptance of responsibility, a sense of teamwork, and commitment to follow-through are key to our mutual success.
